Course of Study

Los Angeles mixed use developments require more qualified property managers than ever before.

Southern California mixed use developments require more qualified property managers than ever before. Our course curriculum is geared to get you knowledgeable about current real estate and property management topics, and apply them to real world experiences.

As a student enrolled in this Business degree program, you will take focused classes in essential aspects of both commercial and residential property management and development. Our courses teaching the basics of leasing operations prepare you to oversee repairs, renovations, and improvements to properties. Courses in current California landlord-tenant laws give you the skills to work as go-betweens for landlords and tenants, helping to make landlord-tenant relationships as smooth as possible. Additionally, we offer classes in appraisal and valuation, and rental and commercial property rules and regulations that apply in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, and in the state of California.

The college experience is further enhanced by our roster of general education and core business and computer courses. Salesmanship and customer service classes help you devise management and sales strategies that work, while mathematics classes help you compute the financial aspects of property and real estate. English classes build proficiency in reading and writing, that contribute to the complex matters of property management and real estate development.
