It’s not every day that you have the chance to learn about a fascinating aspect of the law from a true professional. Today, Fremont College’s paralegal students joined in an Advanced Skills and Knowledge Workshop law with attorney Christine Wilton. Christine is an expert on bankruptcy law. The workshop began as a dynamic lecture on bankruptcy law and paralegal career opportunities. But it quickly turned into a high-energy question and answer session with more than twenty participants.

On March 20, Sports and Rehabilitation Therapy students from Fremont College will be putting their healing talents to use, helping runners in a race against cancer. ThinkCure is a Los Angeles–based nonprofit that raises funds for cancer research, and some runners at the NPN LA Marathon 5K will be raising money to support the cause.

After years of planning, Fremont College was recently given permission to put up signage on the building we have occupied for over three years. The beautiful red letters were erected shortly after the new year and can be seen from the southbound and northbound traffic on the 605 Freeway.
