Nicholas H. Stonnington is President of Stonnington Group, LLC which was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Los Angeles. It is a Registered Investment Advisor registered with and regulated by the SEC; a Broker/Dealer member of NASD/SIPC; and an insurance agency. The firm offers a platform providing preeminent services for wealth management, benefits administration, and private equity.

Previously, Mr. Stonnington was Senior Vice President, Investments, of Merrill Lynch & Co. where he was employed from 1982 to 2003. Perennially the top producing wealth manager in the Los Angeles office, Nick was rated the top investment broker in Los Angeles in 2002 for America’s best wealth advisors, based on assets under management, production and ethics. Before Merrill, Mr. Stoninngton was President of Los Angeles Pensions Department where he oversaw a $10 billion fund for the Fire and Police of the City of Los Angeles and introduced the private equity asset allocation. Mr. Stonnington has an AB from Dartmouth College.

He is a recipient of the Father of the Year Award from the Father’s Day Council, the Governor’s Award from the California Governor of Polo and the Linfoot Award, exemplifying sportsmanship in polo.
