As a founding partner of Margolis & Tisman, Mr. Margolis handles class actions and other complex cases, including fraud in international joint ventures; other international trade disputes; sexual harassment, employment discrimination and other employment disputes; unfair competition and misappropriation of intellectual property; disputes relating to real estate, commercial, and secured transactions; banking; and general business matters. He was voted one of Southern California's Super Lawyers for 2006 and 2007.

Before starting Margolis & Tisman, he practiced with Littler Mendelson PC, now the largest U.S. employment law firm, from 1979 to 1984. Since then, he has been involved in private practice. Mr. Margolis holds a Juris Doctorate from Cornell University Law School and was Note Editor of the Cornell Law Review.
